So, this time I'm getting significantly out of my comfort zone by making a 215 BPM track. Someone once told me I should try doing something high-speed, so here it is!
The main source of inspiration for this track is Manabu Namiki's True Final Boss tracks he composed for various CAVE shmups, which tend to veer into extremely high BPMs with frantic breakbeats, overall providing a very nerve-wracking yet exciting soundscape. However, there's quite a lot of Sampling Masters MEGA inspired sound in there too, with the rave stabs and hard gabber kicks. Of course, everything with my own spin on it, I take pride in my creativity after all :3
The title of this track, "ZABIYA", is actually a pun on the polish word "Zabija", which is the verb version of "kills". It is also supposed so look like a name of a CAVE shmup boss, so I thought that, while a bit cheesy, it is quite a fitting and cool name for what is ultimately a boss song. How chuunibyou of me :p
Overall, I hope you'll enjoy this deviation from the norm (if there even is a norm in my case haha). It was fun working on it, and I hope you'll have fun with this track!
